About Eric

"Eric is an expert business broker, multi-business entrepreneur, former police officer, and business coach, but his story goes beyond his business card.


Like many successful entrepreneurs, Eric developed his passion for innovation and a muscle for grit by overcoming a life of hardship. His unwavering belief that we are stronger than our circumstances served him as he transitioned between two seemingly opposite career ends, criminal justice and entrepreneurship.


As a former police officer, Eric garnered multiple commendations, but it came at the price of trauma. Through active recovery and years of personal development, that trauma has grown into strength and a passion for helping others. Compounded by his business expertise, his unique background and strengths set Eric apart from others in the business brokering industry.


Today Eric is an advocate for survivors of post-traumatic stress disorder and a people-first business leader. He currently works as a business broker for Business Acquisitions, Ltd., in Denver, Colorado."

“Business owners contact me when they are thinking about what it looks like to sell their business. Having been through the process on both sides of the table I can give them a unique perspective while fully understanding what it is like to be in their shoes. I help them understand the selling process start to finish. If they choose to sell, it is my job to manage the long and complicated process of finding a buyer and getting the deal to the closing table. It is a long emotional journey. It takes a strong, trusting relationship between myself and the seller to get through it. I put the seller’s best interests before my paycheck. If the present value of the business is not where the seller needs it to be, I will help them identify the issues and find the resources to get them to a higher multiple. That is a value that other brokers simply can’t offer.


I help buyers as well. Most first-time entrepreneurs have no idea where to start! Much like sellers, they need help understanding the process. I am there to help. Beyond explaining the process, I can provide BEV’s (Broker Estimate of Value) that will help the buyer determine whether the business they want to buy is truly worth what the seller is asking. This can potentially save the buyer thousands of dollars!


Lastly, I help business owners who want to grow their business through the acquisition of another company. I help target and approach potential acquisitions, manage and negotiate the transaction, and get the deal to the closing table.
